Interface design part 2

Here's my second design, inspired by a painting by Wassily Kandinsky. The colors are similar to the Psycho poster. I wanted more abstract shapes in the design, but I decided that while that might have looked kind of cool, it ultimately detracted from a cleaner, more usable design, so I toned them down. Maybe some shapes in the background with a degree of transparency?
